Great experience here! I have used them twice. First time was for my class B in 2021 and then again in 2024 for my class A. The instructors are nice, patient and great at training. The administrators in the office are also very pleasant. Elizabeth was great at helping me sign up and answering all of the questions and concerns I had during the process. She also went out of her way to recover a past receipt that needed for work. Go there and check it out, they will walk you through everything. I highly recommend!

100% recommend it’s worth the drive if you don’t live nearby. I took the 150hr class a career program. The classroom portion was very good because it makes you aware of the things you were going to do and see before you get out into the yard. They are very accommodating to your schedule and your needs. All the instructors are very friendly and are all very knowledgeable and have years of experience that can’t be taught. Once again I’d 100% recommend you to attend commercial driver training.

I just passed my class B cdl today. The school helped me tremendously. I had three different instructors and they were all good. But the best advice I can give is to study at home as much as possible. Watch the video the school provides, a lot. The school will help you perfect what you should already know. And they are very flexible with the schedule.

Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to obtain a CDL license. They are extremely knowledgeable and helpful guiding you through the process all the way to the road test. They went above and beyond helping my son and others. The instructor was excellent and detailed making sure he was ready and prepared. Passed on first try. 100% recommend this school. I came into the 280 full time program having absolutely no idea how to drive a stick shift truck. Now i can proudly say i can drive! From Linda and Elizabeth , to Bill, Zack, Lucas , Pat and Fernando all who instructed me these guys know how to make it happen! Dont go anywhere else if you wanna learn to drive a truck the correct way absolutely come to CDT! So happy I chose to go to this program. Best thing I ever did!

Would like to thank the instructor Chuck for his expertise in helping me successfully pass my road test. I’ve never driven a stick shift vehicle, but Chuck was a great help and an awesome instructor. CDT has phenomenal trainers overall and they have my recommendation !

Definitely the best CDL training school on Long Island. The instructors are great. I 100% recommend this school if you're looking to get your CDL. CHUCK and Bill were great instructors. CHUCK was very patient with myself and my co-worker, who was very nervous at the beginning of the course. By the end of the course, CHUCK built confidence in the both of us which was only 4 Saturdays. Thank you, CHUCK and Bill
